TO THE LEGAL VOTERS OF THE TOWN OF GUILDHALL
FOR PROPOSED CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE

The Town of Guildhall Select Board plans to convey approximately 10.06 acres of land on the north side of the Boucher Road, so-called, in the Town of Guildhall. The parcel, now known as the “Garrows Lot”, was acquired by the Town of Guildhall pursuant to a Tax Collector’s Deed dated December 28, 2006 and recorded in Book 35, Page 432, being all and the same land and premises conveyed to Richard J. Garrow& Virginia Garrow by Warranty Deed of Ida M. Costello and Richard J. Garrow by Warranty Deed dated April 26, 1988 and recorded in Book X, Page 192 of Guildhall Land Records.
Any person interested in purchasing the property may submit a bid to the Town Clerk’s Office in the Guild Hall, at Guildhall, Vermont during the Town Clerk’s hours (posted at http://www.guildhallvt.org) between October 23, 2012 and October 30, 2012. No bids will be accepted after 7:00 p.m. on October 30, 2012. The Selectboard reserves the right to refuse any or all bids, at its discretion.
Interested buyers are invited to inspect the survey recently produced for the Town, but no person is entitled to rely upon it. The parcel will be conveyed as-is, with no warrants, by quitclaim deed.
A copy of the proposed purchase and sales agreement may be inspected in the Town Clerk’s Office. Individuals with questions may contact Sam Swope, Town Clerk, at (802) 676-3797 or through the Town’s website at http://www.guildhallvt.org/town-clerk.html.
This notice is posted in three places within Guildhall, including the Town Clerk’s Office. And it will be published in at least one newspaper of general circulation no less than thirty days prior to the date of conveyance.
Minimum bid to be accepted is $10,000.00 for the 10.06 acre Garrows lot.
